We don't have 'electropigment' in actual applications, but clothes that change colour, and pattern according to their wearer's wishes are becoming a reality. Wearable computing applications are becoming more and more sophisticated year on year.
By 2006 it was possible to see LEDs embedded in clothing changing pattern according to an embedded computer. By 2008 the threads of the clothing itself could be a power source, recharging displays as the wearer moved.
It is now becoming easy to extrapolate glowing fabric threads that change colour according to a wearable computer's control - that change preprogrammed patterns at the flick of a switch.
