Cybersteria
Cybersteria as a term, was first coined by Journalist Lew Koch, as a label for the application of neo-McCarthyism.
Basically, cybersteria is the grip of information hysteria which causes established power blocks - multinational corporations, governments, and such - to start unscrupulously accusing people of disloyalty, by passing laws, and praying upon cyberspace in other ways, as a scapegoat for their ills.
