High Angular Resolution Diffusion weighted MRI High Angular Resolution Diffusion weighted MRI or HARDI is a type of MRI scan that measures the amount of water that is diffusing through white matter. By doing this, it effectively measures the density and integrity of myelin sheaths over a given clustering of neurons. By determining the sheath integrity, the speed of cogitation in that area can be directly calculated. Below, we offer a selection of links from our resource databases which may match this term.
