Interactive Dynamic Response

Interactive dynamic response is an artificial intelligence reaction based technique to dynamically animate a character or non player character based on the way interaction proceeds.

Dynamic response traditionally handles this by the utilisation of a database of reactions to compare against and / or find the closest modality in order to compute the appropriate response. This approach is usually too slow for real-time applications.

Interactive dynamic response on the other hand, uses sophisticated search algorithms, and intelligent guesswork to take a collection of reduced base instruction sets and find the closest hybrid in far less time than dynamic response which makes it fast enough for real-time use, changing on the fly to user interactions.
