Sonification
Sonification is the use of sounds to perceptualize the user to embed their sensory sense of self in an artificial reality, by utilising auditory perception to reinforce visual stimuli, and to use the spatial aspects of directional sound as a navigation aid, or to provide a totally non-visual feedback channel for the user.
