Sonification
Sonification is the use of sounds to perceptualize the user – to embed their sensory sense of self in an artificial reality, by utilising auditory perception to reinforce visual stimuli, and to use the spatial aspects of directional sound as a navigation aid, or to provide a totally non-visual feedback channel for the user.
