Participatory Panopticon

Participatory panopticon is a paradigm for dealing with an ever-present surveillance society, that forms part of an interconnected sensor web.

The concept is simple: given that cameras and surveillance devices will soon be ubiquitous, give each citizen the tools to access and monitor their output, connecting all surveillance systems into one single sensor web.

This creates the concept of citizens watching one another and keeping one another accountable for their actions.
