VRET
VRET or Virtual Reality Exposure Therapy is a cornerstone of VR for therapeutic use.
The goal of VRET is to as fully immerse as possible the sufferers senses in to a total immersion virtual environment, then recreate bit by bit, the experiences they find so traumatic, keeping contact with them at all times, to continually reassure and enforce positive feedback.
Usually, each environment is tailored to individuals' personal experience so they feel as though they're re-living the event over and over again, slowly healing their wounds.
