RB2
RB2 is an old slang phrase in VR, referring to a “reality built for two”. Specifically, a shared space, collaborative VR that allows two users, and is not designed to scale up for more. This allows a much greater data transfer rate between the parties present, as the algorithms do not have to scale for X additional possible partners, and is used for high sensory awareness simulations. Whilst typically not currently possible due to bandwidth constraints, any form of intimate encounter between partners is likely to be a RB2 environment.
